Welcome to my World of Postage Stamps...

It’s been years, since I made my first postage stamp, and mailed my first envelope into a US MAIL box, in 1994 to be exact, not knowing that years later I would still be designing and creating Postage Stamps and sending them through the post... A bunch of things have changed since 1994. The world, well, It's still a scary place, still filled with moronic politicians, imbeciles and hypocrites, perverts, mentally dysfunctional christians, sex scandals, wars etc... In short, just a bunch of fallen idiots from all walks of life, that fuel my work, that sometimes gets me into trouble...

The work is still fun to make, it still pushes me, to push the buttons and boundaries of satirical disobedience and protest... I guess I can quote Charles Buwkoski here “Find what you Love and Let it Kill you”. I believe I have found that thing that I love to do, and that’s making postage stamps that cross the boundaries of all social taboos, more often, than not... 

My stamp-work is influenced and drivin' by the art forms of Conceptualism, Pop, Dada, Fluxism, Mail Art, and Performance with a punk ass infusion of sarcasm, delinquency and prankster. The work is defined Philatelically as Cinderella’s, Freaks or Oddities, while maintaining the commemorative charm of paying homage to individuals / events / places that have fallen from grace. 

The postal system is still the phantom collaborators, signing off on the mailed envelopes with their hallmark signature: the postage cancellation.
